Driclor is a solution containing aluminum chloride hexahydrate, used as a strong antiperspirant to treat excessive sweating of the armpits, hands, and feet. It should be applied using the roll-on applicator provided and washed off in the morning. Avoid contact with sensitive areas, let it dry completely before putting on clothes, and do not apply to recently shaved, broken, or irritated skin. If you forget to apply it, simply apply the next dose as usual.

How to apply Driclor:

  • Make sure your skin is completely dry before application.
  • Apply Driclor only to the affected areas of your armpits, hands or feet using the roll-on applicator provided.
  • Avoid getting Driclor in your eyes, lips or mouth.
  • Wash the Driclor off in the morning and do not reapply.
  • You can continue using your normal deodorant as usual.
  • Driclor should not be used on recently shaved, broken, or irritated skin, or on areas treated with hair removal products.

What else you need to know when applying Driclor:

  • Avoid contact with eyes, nostrils or mouth. In case of accidental contact with sensitive areas, rinse well with water.
  • Driclor can stain clothes, so let it dry completely before putting on any clothes.
  • Avoid contact with jewelry and metal surfaces to prevent staining.
  • Driclor may cause skin irritation, itching, and redness, and should be discontinued if these symptoms occur.

If you forget to use Driclor:

  • Do not apply a double dose to make up for the missed application.
  • Apply the next dose as usual.

Ingredients

  • Aluminium chloride hexahydrate (20% w/w or 185mg/ml), ethyl alcohol, purifed water.

Side effects

Like all medication, Driclor Solution can have side effects, although not everyone will experience them. These include:

  • Stinging
  • Irritation
  • Itching
  • Swelling
  • Burning sensation
  • Pain
  • Rash
  • Redness of the skin

Warnings and precautions 

  • There are no restrictions on the use of Driclor during during pregnancy or lactation.
  • Do not apply Driclor to broken, irritated or recently shaven skin.
  • Ensure that the affected areas to be treated are completely dry before application.
  • Avoid direct contact with clothing and polished metal surfaces.
