This floss system is tailor made for cleaning around orthodontic wires, dental bridges, implants and larger interdental spaces — areas where traditional floss often falls short.

🎯 Key Features & Benefits

  • 3-in-1 strand design: Each pre-cut strand of Super Floss has three parts:
    1. A stiffened end (threader) to help you pass the floss under braces, wires or beneath bridge-appliances.
    2. A spongy floss section to clean around appliances and in wider gaps.
    3. A regular floss section to remove plaque along the gumline and between teeth.
  • Pre-cut strands: Ready to use, no measuring required. Typically a box contains 50 strands.
  • Mint flavour (in many markets) to leave your mouth feeling fresh.
  • Ideal for users with: braces, fixed retainers, dental bridges, implants or wide gaps between teeth. These users have been specifically recommended this product.

Why Use It

When you have appliances like braces or bridges:

  • It’s harder for standard floss to reach beneath wires or under bridges.
  • Plaque and food can accumulate in these hard-to-reach spaces, increasing risk of gum disease or decay.
  • Super Floss provides a specialised tool to navigate around and under such appliances, making flossing effective rather than frustrating.
  • Dental professionals often recommend it for these specific conditions.

🧴 How to Use

  1. Take one pre-cut strand.
  2. Use the stiffened end to thread the floss under the wire of your braces or beneath the bridge.
  3. Use the spongy section around the appliance or in the wide gap to clean thoroughly.
  4. Use the regular floss part along the gumline and between teeth. Slide gently up and down.
  5. Use a fresh strand for each interdental space.
  6. Use at least once a day, ideally in the evening after brushing.

💡 Things to Consider

  • If you have very tight tooth contacts, some users report the regular floss section can be difficult to maneuver. See user feedback:

“I use oral-b super floss … but it always leaves fibers in between my teeth.”

  • For extremely tight gaps, you may need to combine with an interdental brush or threader.
  • Always floss gently — avoid snapping the floss which may irritate gums or damage appliances.
  • Consult your dentist or orthodontist if you’re unsure how to use Super Floss with your specific appliance.
