Choosing the right floss

Waxed floss slides more easily between tight contacts and resists shredding — a sensible default for most adults. Mint-flavoured waxed floss adds freshness without changing performance. For braces, bridges or implants, Super Floss has a stiff threader and a spongy section that lifts plaque from around fixed work. For wider gaps between teeth, interdental brushes are often more effective than floss — they reach areas floss can't.
